On Valentines Day, February 14th, 2020, members were on hand to present a donation to The Legit Band at their fundraiser benefiting the Waltham High School Show Band.

Members and their families had a great time at the event. We are excited to have the Legit Band at our festival kickoff on March 27th (more info) and at our 85th Festival, July 15th-19th, 2020.

On Thursday, January 9th, coinciding with National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the Sons of the American Legion - Post 440 hosted Newton Police Appreciation Day. As in the past, members of the society attended to show our thanks to the Newton (and all) Police for what they do.

On Thursday, December 12th, 2019 members of the St Mary of Carmen Society shopped for toys for children/families in need of various ages. On Sunday, December 15th, members dropped off the toys at Newton Fire Station 4 (The Lake). We would like to thank the Newton Fire Department for collecting for Toys for Tots for many years and making a very convenient drop off location.

This is one of the many things the St Mary of Carmen Society does with the funding raised from our loyal supporters throughout the year, and we thank you for making this possible.
